The Sinpha Revolutionary Site in Ryanggang Province in northern part of the DPRK is associated with the undying feats of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.

During the anti-Japanese revolutionary war, Kim Jong Suk conducted her underground political activities in Sinpha area, on orders of President Kim Il Sung, to arouse the people of all strata to the struggle for national liberation.

In June Juche 26 (1937), she formed the Singalpha chapter of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland and the party branch of Sinpha area and energetically guided their work.

Thus, the Sinpha area could be turned into a powerful base for expanding the network of underground revolutionary organizations to other vast areas of the homeland at that time.

At the revolutionary site, there is a statue of Kim Jong Suk.

Today marks her 103rd birth anniversary.
