Kim Jong Un receives reply message from Lao President

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a reply message from Bounnang Vorachith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), on Dec. 14.

The Lao president in the message expressed his heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Central Committee of the LPRP and the government and people of Laos and on his own behalf to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for sending encouraging warm felicitations and best wishes to the LPRP, the government and people of Laos and to him on the occasion of the 45th founding anniversary of the LPDR.

The president expressed the belief that the DPRK would as ever achieve new greater successes in the defence of the country, the cause of building a powerful socialist country and improvement of the people's living standard under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

He said that he rejoices at the traditional and good relations of friendship and cooperation between the LPDR and the DPRK which have brought substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries and grown stronger in conformity with regional and global peace and stability, cooperation and development.

The message wished Kim Jong Un happiness in good health and greater success in his noble work.
