DPRK-China friendship consolidated on the road of socialism

It has been one year since Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un met with Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China on a state visit to our country.

On the invitation of Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping visited the DPRK from June 20 to 21, 2019.

Their meeting in Pyongyang served as an occasion of great significance in further consolidating the friendship between the supreme leaders of the two countries and developing in depth their relations.

The DPRK-China friendship is a precious legacy bequeathed by the preceding leaders of the two countries and common treasure of the two peoples.

The parties and peoples of the two countries have closely supported and cooperated with each other, devoting their blood and lives to the joint struggle for independence against imperialism, peace and socialism for a long time.

Socialism is a great banner which unites the leaders and peoples of the two countries in deep comradely trust and obligation.

As the two countries have socialism as a common ideal, their relations are developing into those of solid comradely fraternity and stable friendship.

Today, the two parties and peoples of the DPRK and China are striving to safeguard and develop socialism frustrating the high-handed and last-ditch efforts of the hostile forces in one mind and concerted efforts.

The historic traditions of the DPRK-China friendship of uniting, cooperating, supporting and encouraging one another are being carried forward without interruption despite the complicated international situations.

Under the deep care of the supreme leaders of the two parties, the friendly relations between the two countries will be consolidated and developed invariably in the future, too, and their socialist construction will emerge ever-victorious.
