Members of the People's Democratic Party of south Korea held a meeting outside the U.S. military base in Phyongthaek on April 5 in demand of the U.S. troops' withdrawal from south Korea, according to the south Korean online paper Minjok Ilbo.

They denounced the U.S. forces in south Korea for escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula with ceaseless war exercises.

Saying that the toll for the U.S. military bases in south Korea would reach over 100 trillion won, they called for stopping the negotiation for sharing the expenses for the upkeep of the U.S. forces and claiming compensation.

Then they expressed their will to turn out in the struggle for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.
