Russian organization lauds DPRK's line on self-reliance

The Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the Far Eastern Region of Russia posted on its website an article under the title of "Choice of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea" to prove the validity of the idea of launching an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on set forth at the Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The plenary meeting was held in the spotlight of the international community, the article said, and went on:

Despite the sincere efforts by the DPRK for peace and security on the Korean peninsula, the hostile forces remain unchanged in their moves to stifle the DPRK.

It was a matter of the greatest concern in the world what decision the DPRK would make in such a situation.

The slogan "Let Us Break Through Head-on All the Barriers to Our Advance!" upheld by the DPRK at the end of last year clearly showed that the DPRK would not give up its dignity which it has so far defended as valuable as its own life in the hope of gorgeous transformation and that the imperialists' persistent moves of stifling it would neither work on it nor check its vigorous advance towards the building of a powerful socialist country.

The decision of the DPRK dealt a telling blow to the imperialists and made the international community believe that the Korean people would surely build the powerful socialist country with the might of self-development despite severe trials and challenges.

The offensive for making a breakthrough head-on is the most just and wise option to cope with the prevailing condition.

It is the firm faith of the DPRK to break through head-on all the barriers with the spirit of self-reliance and self-development, defend the dignity of the country and the gains of revolution and achieve national prosperity.
