Candlelight struggle for prosecution reform

A large-scale candlelight struggle has been conducted in south Korea in demand of a reform of the prosecution.

On September 28 and October 5, millions of participants in the struggle who thronged to Seoul from Kwangju, Taegu, Pusan and other places surrounded the Supreme Prosecutor's Office and the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, and shouted such slogans as "Withdraw the political prosecution!" and "Let's dissolve the Liberal Korea Party!"

The participants said that the candlelight struggle for impeaching Park Geun Hye was the first candlelight revolution and the present candlelight rally for doing away with deep-seated evils of prosecution is the second candlelight revolution.

They expressed their will to continue the candlelight struggle and surely reform the prosecution and dissolve the "Liberal Korea Party" which is seeking revival of conservatism.
