WPK delegation meets with member of CPC CC Secretariat

A delegation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) headed by First Vice Department Director of its Central Committee Kim Song Nam met with Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), at the Great Hall of the People on Friday.

Wang Huning said that China and the DPRK are the friendly neighboring countries linked by the same mountain and rivers and the relations between the two parties and two countries are the deep-rooted traditional relations.

He noted that the top leaders of the two parties reached important agreements on the development of China-DPRK relations, the situation on the Korean peninsula and issues on international relations at the five rounds of meetings in a little more than a year.

He stated that the special and revolutionary relations between the top leaders serve as the most important guarantee for the development of the relations between the two parties and two countries.

In particular, the state visit to the DPRK by President Xi Jinping boosted the friendly feelings of the peoples of the two countries and through this the Chinese people came to know well the successes achieved by the Korean people in socialist construction under the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un, he said.

Present there were Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China, Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., CPC, and other officials of the C.C., CPC.
