Relations DPRK-China judicial organs to grow stronger

Delegation of DPRK Central Court meets Secretary of Political and Legal Affairs Committee of CPC Central Committee

A delegation of the DPRK Central Court led by President Kang Yun Sok met and had a talk with Guo Shengkun, member of the Political Bureau, member of the Secretariat and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on July 16. The delegation is on a visit to China.

Secretary Guo Shengkun said that the Chinese party and government are attaching much importance to the China-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations personally provided and nurtured by the revolutionaries of the elder generations of the two countries.

He recalled the successful Pyongyang visit paid recently by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the invitation of Chairman Kim Jong Un.

Being pleased over the eye-opening successes achieved by the DPRK in the economic development and improvement of people's living standard under the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un, the secretary expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the judicial organs of the two countries would grow stronger as required by the new era this year marking the 70th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Present there were the DPRK ambassador to China, the president of the Supreme People's Court of China and officials concerned.

That day the delegation met the Chinese minister of Justice.
