Japan should not forget historic lesson

Recently, the Japanese chief executive let loose a litany of rhetoric that specifying the existence of the "Self-Defence Forces" in Article 9 of the Constitution is the "basis of defence."

In other words, his remarks are meant to legalise the SDF as a regular army, get the right of belligerency, enable the use of armed forces and thus bring back the era of militarism by inscribing the existence of the SDF in Article 9 of the Constitution.

The SDF is frequently staging joint military drills with other countries under the excuse of "cooperation" and "tightened relations" and dispatching SDF units to other regions at will.

The reality shows that the activities of the SDF expanded to the Indian Ocean as well as the Pacific, going far beyond the limit fixed by the Constitution.

This is a concentrated manifestation of Japan's ever more undisguised ambition for a military giant and overseas expansion.

A handful of far-right conservatives of Japan intend to enact a new Constitution and enforce it in 2020.

It is a repeated advice given by the international community to war criminal state Japan that it should never forget the historic lesson as a disgraceful defeated nation which ran amuck to realize the wild ambition of aggression for world supremacy.

Clear is what remains ahead of Japan led by those injudicious lunatics. It is nothing but an abyss of ruin.
