The victory in the Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant one brought about by the Juche-oriented military idea, war methods and outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung and the proud one by ardent patriotism and indomitable fighting spirit of the service personnel of the People's Army and people of Korea.

The President set forth the slogan "Everything for Victory in the War!", encouraged the entire Party, the whole state and all the people to turn out in the struggle for defending the country and wisely led the struggle to destroy the numerical and technical superiority of the enemies by dint of political, moral, strategic and tactical advantages.

The brave People's Army fighters opened up a road of charge by dedicating their lives to destroying the enemy pillboxes, and did not hesitate to sacrifice themselves for the defence of an inch of the country's land, shouting "Long live General Kim Il Sung!" in battlefields,.

During the war, the Chinese party, government and people sent the Chinese People's Volunteers composed of their excellent sons and daughters to support the struggle of the Korean people at the cost of their blood under the uplifted banner of resisting America and aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland, and thus boosted the DPRK-China friendship forged in the flames of the anti-Japanese war and strikingly demonstrated its invincibility and vitality.

The war victory exploits performed by the President who rescued twice the destiny of the country and the nation by leading the Fatherland Liberation War to victory and created the ever-victorious history and traditions of Juche Korea will be immortal generation after generation.

The proud tradition of the July 27 victory has been steadily carried forward century after century by the great brilliant commanders. Our socialist country greeted the golden age of bolstering up the national power under the outstanding guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
