Wang Yang expresses readiness to promote China-DPRK relations

Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The delegation of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea headed by Presidium Member Kim Wan Su, which is on a visit to China, met with Wang Yang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, in Beijing on June 28.

Wang Yang said that the China-DPRK friendship is a common asset of both sides which the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries provided and developed, expressing the readiness to creditably put into practice the important common understanding of the top leaders of the two countries and to promote the development of the bilateral relations.

He sincerely wished the Korean people greater success in carrying out the new strategic line of the Workers' Party of Korea under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un.

Present there were Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China; Xia Baolong, vice-chairman and concurrently secretary general of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and other officials concerned.

Earlier, there took place talks between Kim Wan Su, presidium member of the C.C., the Democratic Front for the Reunification of Korea, and Yang Chuantang, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
