The Workers' Party for the Independence (PIT) of Senegal made public a statement on June 12, the first anniversary of the adoption of the historic June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement, KCNA on Wednesday reported, and continued:

A joint statement reflecting the will to put an end to the hostile relations between the DPRK and the US and make efforts for peace was adopted at the summit meeting and talks between Chairman Kim Jong Un and the US president in Singapore.

The Workers' Party for the Independence of Senegal was glad to see the adoption of the DPRK-US joint statement warmly welcomed by the progressives.

We extend solidarity to the Korean people advancing in the face of all sorts of sanctions and call on all the justice-loving people to turn out in the struggle for peace.
