Piano concert held by students of Kim Won Gyun University of Music

Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- A piano concert of students of Kim Won Gyun University of Music took place at the Music Hall of the university on Thursday to mark the national day of the Russian Federation.

1 piano concert

Among the audience were Pak Chun Sik, vice-minister of Culture, officials concerned, teachers and students of the university, Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy members, diplomatic envoys of different countries and representatives of international bodies here.

2 piano concert

The concert was given by Pak Ye Un, U Song Ryon, Kim Ji Won, Choe Jang Hong and Pae Yon Ju.

They proved successful in the Second and Third Moscow Krainev International Piano Concours.

Put on the stage were famous tunes of the DPRK and the world including piano solo "Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il", "Let's Keep the Revolutionary Faith to the Death" and "We Are Mallima Riders".

3 piano concert

The performers wonderfully depicted works requiring high skills by fully displaying their artistic talents which have been developed to their heart's content under the socialist educational system.

4 piano concert

Officials of the Russian embassy presented a floral basket to the performers who showed their excellent rendition.
