Iran shoots down US drone, condemns US violation of Iranian airspace

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) force shot down a US drone in the Strait of Hormuz.

On June 20, Iran's PressTV reported that the US-made 'RQ-4A Global Hawk' spy drone was brought down for its intrusion into the Iranian airspace.

On the same day, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Mousavi strongly denounced the US spy drone's intrusion into the Iranian airspace, and emphasized that the entire responsibility for consequences of such actions would fall upon the aggressors.
